Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest in distributing Holy Communion during all services.
Lectors read the Bible and lead intercessory prayers during public worship.
Ushers & Representatives of the Congregation
Ushers & Representatives of the Congregation
The Ushers for the church serve an important role. During our worship services, they provide a welcome and practical help to both parishioners and visitors. A warm greeting upon entering the church sets the tone for the service and perception of the congregation. The ushers assist in tidying the church before and after the service, handing out bulletins, directing traffic, collecting the weekly offering, and counting the number of attendees at every service.
During the Offertory Procession, the Representatives of the Congregation bring the bread and wine to the celebrant in preparation for Holy Communion.
