Twice a week, Christy Gaines, a certified Yoga instructor and member of Trinity Episcopal Church, leads a Chair Yoga class for the community in our Parish Hall. This class is free and open to everyone. Join us to benefit from this healthful, low-impact exercise.
On the third Sunday of every month (Summer excluded), Trinity Episcopal Church hosts a Potluck Lunch at 11 am, following Sunday's Church service. Different themes ensure menu variety each month.
During different seasons of the year, we host events and parties for the church and community. These include Mardi Gras/Pancake Suppers, Wine Tastings, Lenten events/meals, Receptions, etc.
The Lumberton Christian Care Center serves as a shelter for men, women, and children in need. Nourishing hot meals are served at the Center Mondays through Fridays, and all are welcome.
In addition, downtown Lumberton churches participate in the Center's Hope's Table program by taking turns serving free lunches on Saturday mornings. Visit this website for hours and more details.
